Giving Tree

Each Christmas Season, the Christ Our King Giving Tree is located in the front of the church starting Saturday, the 1st weekend of Advent until Sunday the 4th weekend of Advent.  For over 30 years our parish has provided Christmas gifts for more than 75 children each year from St. Joe’s Pro Cathedral Parish in Camden.  The St. Vincent  dePaul Society also provides names of children to be included in the gift giving event.

This is a wonderful way for our families to share with families less fortunate right here in our own area. The Giving Tree is decorated with festive colored coded tags.  The gold tags are a $50 gift, white tags are a $40 gift, blue tags are a $30 gift, red tags are a $20 gift and green tags are a $10 gift.  Gifts can be brought to church each week and placed under the Giving Tree before or after masses.  During the week, gifts can be dropped off at the Parish Center. The last day gifts can be dropped off is Sunday, the 4th weekend of Advent after the 11:00 am mass (BEFORE NOON).

Gifts are wrapped and returned with the original tag attached.  Volunteers are needed to sort and bag gifts and drivers are  needed to deliver gifts.
