Parishioners listened to Father Jon announce the parish goals at the 2024 Town Hall meeting.
Last year, nearly 100 parishioners filled Morgan Hall, and 16 more joined via livestream to hear Father Jon’s insightful State of the Parish Address. This year, we invite you to be part of the growing momentum.
More than just an annual meeting, the Town Hall is a celebration of community, mission, and renewal. As Father Jon beautifully stated, “We are the only organization offering the fullness of the Christian faith.” That faith comes alive together when we gather, grow, and serve.
At Christ the King, we’re committed to building an intentional community. From vibrant ministry meetings on campus, to engaging weekly worship, and heartfelt home-based faith-sharing groups, we’re working to combat loneliness through connection and spiritual growth. Last year, we launched the Question of the Week, a simple yet powerful way for adults and youth to connect weekly Gospel readings to daily life, encouraging personal reflection and deeper understanding. We’re also excited to continue our two-year partnership with the Sisters of Saint Joseph Neighborhood Center. Nearly 60 parishioners are already involved in this local mission, learning, loving, and serving alongside our neighbors in Camden. It’s a transformative opportunity—and we’d love for you to join us.
At this year’s meeting, Father Jon will present our 2025 parish goals and initiatives, followed by an open mic session which is an opportunity for anyone to share a 60-second comment or idea related to parish life. We’ll also hold Pastoral Council elections, continuing the tradition of inviting fresh leadership and vision into our parish community.
Join us in Morgan Hall on Wednesday, May 6. Doors open at 6:30 PM for a wine, cheese, and dessert reception hosted by our Hospitality Ministry and serving special homemade treats from the Sweet Blessings Ministry. For more information contact the parish office.
