John B. Kearney has been a member of Christ the King Parish since 1978. He and his wife Ann live in Cherry Hill after raising five children in Haddonfield, all of whom graduated from Christ the King School. John is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He was a trial lawyer in New
Jersey and Pennsylvania for 40 years and was selected in 2020 as Professional Lawyer of the Year by the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey and the New Jersey State Bar Association. John is a volunteer professor at Esperanza College in North Philadelphia, where he teaches courses in public speaking and restorative justice. He is a member of the board of the Camden Center for Law and Social Justice and active in the Delaware Valley/South Jersey chapter of the Ignatian Volunteer Corps.
