Our members range in age from 17 to 98.
When and where
For members who are able to attend we meet in Morgan Hall twice a month. During these sessions, we review our projects, support members’ ideas, share stories of people who have received our shawls, and teach our newer members both knit and crochet stitches.
Achievements
During this year, we provided the following:
- MD Anderson – 90 items, including prayer shawls and hats
- Cherry Hill Food Pantry – 90 items, including prayer shawls, hats, scarves, and lap blankets
- Covenant House – five prayer shawls
- Sisters of St. Joseph Neighborhood Center – 20 items, including prayer shawls, hats, scarves, and lap/stroller blankets
- Parishioners – 10 prayer shawls
