A Feast Day build on Faith

Jubilee Year of Hope art gallery submission from our Little Disciple’s ministry.

Our parish celebrated its Feast Day on November 23 with a weekend full of faith, fellowship, and service. Along with four Masses and four baptisms, we welcomed the Haddonfield Council of Churches for the Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service, hosted an art gallery marking the upcoming close of the Jubilee Year of Hope, and held a turkey and food drive supporting the Cherry Hill Food Pantry and the Sisters of Saint Joseph Neighborhood Center. We also shared our Annual Report, a snapshot of the life and vitality of our parish community.

At each Mass, Father Jon highlighted several encouraging trends from the report. Our parish continues to grow year over year—in Mass attendance, sacramental participation, and offertory giving. He expressed gratitude not only for the generosity that brought our offertory to $1 million for the first time in parish history, but also for our community’s desire to deepen their faith, learn about the Church, and serve others with intention.

The art gallery became a joyful gathering space where parishioners shared their creative gifts. More than 15 artists contributed over 30 pieces, including ministry-created works: a life-sized rosary from the Rosary Ministry and a handmade blanket from Knit, Crochet, Pray. Jen Coehlo, who led the effort, even displayed pottery she created and later used at her wedding Mass.

While the weekend was full and festive, it was rooted in something quieter and more profound: overnight Eucharistic Adoration from Friday at 8:00 PM to Saturday at 5:00 PM. More than 50 parishioners came to sit with the Lord, some of whom made a first-time commitment to Eucharistic Adoration. Jesus was never alone, a testament to the depth of faith in our parish and the willingness of so many to pause and be present with Him.

If you were unable to join us, our Adoration Chapel is open Mondays from 8:30 AM–12:00 PM and Wednesdays from 5:30–8:00 PM. As Advent continues, consider taking a moment of quiet with the Lord to breathe, listen, and let Him guide your path.
