It is with great joy, gratitude, and humility that I introduce myself as the new Director of Stewardship at Christ the King Parish.
My family and I have been parishioners here since 2020, and Christ the King has become an important part of our family’s life and faith journey. I regularly attend the 11:00 a.m. Mass with my wife, Brianne, and our four young children – Munro, Matilda, Magdalene, and Miriam (the “M&M’s,” as Father Jon calls them). It is a true blessing to now have the opportunity to serve the parish community that has meant so much to my family.
Prior to joining the Pastoral Staff, I worked for many years as an existential psychotherapist and pastoral counselor. My work centered on helping people discover meaning, hope, purpose, and a deeper sense of connection with themselves, others, and God. Before entering that field, I served as Campus Minister at Neumann University, where I planned and coordinated Worship and Liturgy, retreats and programs, service initiatives, and community organizing.
My Catholic faith has always been central to my life and vocation. For the past 20 years, I have been involved in men’s faith formation and founded the Men’s Viking Group, a local community organization that helps young men at risk discover faith, fellowship, and sobriety. Since 2010, I have also had the privilege of working with Fr. Richard Rohr, OFM, through his M.A.L.E.s international men’s organization. I am also a member of Santa Maria Knights of Columbus Council #1443.
I believe stewardship is ultimately about gratitude. Everything we have—our time, talents, relationships, resources, and even our very lives—is a gift from God. Stewardship is our joyful response to those gifts and an invitation to share them generously with others.
I look forward to meeting more of you, hearing your stories, and working together to strengthen the life and mission of Christ the King. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve this parish and excited about what God has in store for us.
