Through the Giving Tree, the Christ the King Community has provided Christmas gifts for children living in Camden for over 30 years. The Giving Tree is also a way to help families in need with their utilities and grocery bills.
The 2023 Giving Tree will be located in the vestibule of the church beginning on Saturday, November 25, with color-coded tags:
Red: Specific wish list item (e.g., baby doll) for a child.
Green: $30 gift for a child (child’s age, gender and size will be included on the tag).
Blue: Specific family gift (e.g., comforter)
Silver: $50 family gift card (Walmart, Target, Acme or ShopRite)
Gold: $50 check to help a family pay for utilities throughout the year. Please make checks payable to: St. Joseph’s Carpenter’s Society.
Please return unwrapped gifts with the original tag attached by Sunday, December 17 before 11:00 a.m. Attaching the tag helps greatly in the sorting process.
Please do not wrap gifts! Gifts can be brought to church each week and placed under the Giving Tree before or after masses. During the week gifts can be dropped off at the Parish Center.
DRIVERS NEEDED: On Monday, December 18 at noon, gifts are dropped off at St. Joseph’s Carpenter Society, 20 Church Street, Camden.
